Ruth Bourns opened Tupelo Studio in a renovated cottage behind her Westport, Massachusetts home in 2000. This venture made real a life long dream of creating beautiful things with needle and thread.
Using silks, velvets, wools, Japanese kimono cloth, and fiine cotton, this collection features handcrafted heirloom crib quilts and wall hangings as well as many women’s accessories. These include unique, one-of-a-kind shoulder bags, clutches, jewelry pouches, belts, and scarves.
